ARTICLE I: MEMBERSHIP
Section 1. There are two types of voting membership in Eco-Voice, Inc.
1) Founding sponsors. These are those organizations that provided seed money to establish Eco-Voice, Inc. hereafter referred to as the ‘Voice’. They are listed on the Eco-voice website. One representative of each of these organizations is thereby granted permanent voting rights as a member of the Voice Board of Directors. If a representative of a founding sponsor is removed from the board or resigns, a replacement representative from the founding sponsor organization shall be requested.

Eco-Voice, Inc. is a non-partisan, independent communication portal for individuals and organizations interested in the environmental issues impacting the southwest Florida environment.

Gov. Scott Announces $5 Billion Over 20 Years to Restore the Everglades

Also Proposes Additional $150 Million for Land Acquisition and Management to Help Protect the Florida Panther

MIAMI, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott proposed a dedicated source of revenue that will provide more than $5 billion for Everglades restoration over the next 20 years as part of his 2015-2016 “KEEP FLORIDA WORKING” budget. If passed by the Legislature, $150 million will go towards Everglades restoration this year. In addition, Governor Scott’s proposed budget also includes $150 million that will be allocated toward land acquisition and management which will focus in part on protecting land for the Florida panther.

The Membership and Annual Giving Manager oversees and directly manages all aspects of a comprehensive membership program, to include the acquisition of new members and the renewal and upgrade of existing members. In addition, the manager will oversee and grow Annual Giving for unrestricted gifts under $1,000. This position is under the direction of the Vice President of Development and Marketing.
